Job Overview
What You’ll Do:
In this role as a High Net Worth Client Development Analyst, you will support the expansion of the firm’s M&A referral capabilities, strengthen relationships with external partners, and directly support financial advisors and their business owner clients with complex M&A‑related needs. You will play a critical role in supporting the team that serves as the primary point of contact between the field and the firm’s M&A offerings, acting as a subject‑matter expert on M&A topics and helping guide branch teams along the optimal path for client servicing and engagement.

You will play a critical role in supporting the team that serves as the primary point of contact between the field and the firm’s M&A offerings, acting as a subject‑matter expert on M&A topics and helping guide branch teams along the optimal path for client servicing and engagement.
You will bring strong relationship‑building skills, analytical and organizational capabilities, and a passion for working with business owners and the advisors who support them in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting the overall M&A program, including tracking team activity, managing client and business development reporting, assisting with opportunity follow‑ups, and leveraging technical knowledge to support live cases.
Reporting to the Senior Director of the M&A program, you will support opportunity intake and workflow coordination, assist with partner relationship, and network management, and provide market insights through various channels to Financial Advisors and clients. You will leverage your foundational experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, business development, or a related field to ensure alignment with firm objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Contribute to departmental objectives, projects, and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients. Support intake and assessment of advisor‑submitted opportunities, coordinate timely routing of opportunities to referral partners, and monitor opportunity progression to ensure accurate tracking and maintain timely follow‑ups.
- Provide branches with solutions-based support to integrate the development of M&A services offerings. Research and resolve complex client scenarios, applying critical thinking and acclimation.
- Data, Reporting & Process Management: Utilize and improve CRM systems to manage referral volume and support team objectives. Analyze trends across client needs, partner performance, and market activity. Assist in standardizing workflows and reporting systems
- Relationship & Network Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with third‑party M&A professionals (investment banks, M&A professional service providers, etc.). Support the ongoing evaluation and onboarding of referral partners. Serve as a point of contact for advisors seeking guidance on M&A resources.
- Business Owner & Market Insight: Interpret financial statements, stay informed on M&A trends, and communicate aforementioned trends and processes directly to Financial Advisors and business owner clients.
- Engage with stakeholders to drive proficiency and branch team development through training, education, and support, including our own proprietary educational program centered around Business Owners/M&A.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and relevance in client offerings.

What Experience You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience, including:
- Comfort level reviewing and analyzing financial statements, including EBITDA and other key valuation metrics
- Base level understanding of M&A or Investment Banking processes and terminology

- Experience working in Financial Services or Wealth Management Industry
**Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026.
