EFA Support & Development
Whatever you need.
We’ve got you covered.

As an Edward Jones financial advisor, you have thousands of experts at our headquarters and Experienced financial advisors locally in your region working for your success – a myriad of potential future leadership opportunities – and, best of all, a Branch Office Administrator.
Branch Office Support
We call it a branch team for reason.
We know building strong client relationships takes time – a lot of it. And we’re serious about being client centric, that’s why we support you with a branch office administrator (BOA). Either working alongside you in your branch office from day one, or supporting you from our headquarters until your practice meets the criteria for hiring a BOA. When the time comes, we will help you recruit and hire the BOA, pay their salary and benefits, and provide training. The BOA will manage your office and the day-to-day interactions with your clients – giving you the time you need to build and deepen those most-important relationships.
“ Your branch office administrator takes everything off your plate besides managing your clients. We have the ability to call every one of our clients every couple of months. I could never have done that before. ”
Mike Fessler
Financial Advisor – Oregon City, OR
Region Support
Our spirit of collaboration may surprise you.
“ I’m constantly amazed at the consistent willingness of our financial advisors all over the country to volunteer hours and hours of their time to help other financial advisors be successful. ”
Helen Rice
Financial Advisor – Atlanta, GA
Financial Advisors in your region will collaborate – not compete – with you.
Our partnership structure supports a collaborative culture unique in the financial services industry – where financial advisors don’t feel in direct competition with one another. Quite the opposite. You’ll meet several times a year for in-depth discussions on business-building ideas, best practices and practice management. Veteran or rookie, you each run your own practice. No hierarchy here. Just a support network unlike any other. Leveling the playing field. And freeing all advisors to build the career they want.
Your regional leader is there for you.
Your Edward Jones branch is part of a region. And one of your biggest supports is your regional leader – a highly successful, well-respected veteran financial advisor committed to advancing the overall health and growth of the region. You don’t report to your regional leader. If anything, they are accountable to you – and their biggest job is helping you succeed.
Headquarters Support
6,000 at our headquarters working for your success.
At Edward Jones, our financial advisors are our sole profit center. This means everyone – more than 6,000 associates at our headquarters – does their job with a single-minded focus on your success. They provide the support and tools you’ll need to help clients achieve their financial goals.
Investment Advisory – This team is responsible for our two advisory programs:
Advisory Solutions® – mutual fund and exchange-traded fund advisory program with Unified Managed Account (UMA) model options. This offers clients a customized, comprehensive approach to investment management, including asset allocation, professional investment selection, dynamic threshold rebalancing, detailed performance reporting and tax-efficient management in our UMA models.
Guided Solutions® is a client-directed advisory program where financial advisors work with clients to build a portfolio that is aligned within the Investment Policy Committee (IPC) guidance. Guided Solutions is appropriate for clients who want to retain the final decision making over the investments in their portfolio. Clients can choose from two options: Fund Account or Flex Account. For both options, clients will pay an ongoing fee based on the value of assets in the program.
Research – Our Equity Research team provides stock recommendations, market information and identifies quality investment opportunities. The team typically follows about 300 companies and provides advice and guidance with thorough reports and interactive tools to help financial advisors build diversified portfolios with stocks.
Edward Jones Wealth & Trust Management Services – Edward Jones financial advisors are the primary point of contact for clients using Edward Jones Trust Company®* services. This continuity of service, along with the support of a dedicated home-office team, represents a major competitive advantage over other firms. The Trust Company adheres to the same focus of serving the needs of long-term investors and is equipped to handle some of our clients’ most complex or unique wealth management needs.
* Trust and related services are provided by Edward Jones Trust Company, an affiliate of Edward D. Jones & Co., L.P. (Edward Jones), a dually registered broker-dealer and investment advisor. Edward Jones Trust Company and Edward Jones are subsidiaries of the Jones Financial Companies, L.L.L.P. Edward Jones Trust Company may use Edward Jones or other affiliates to act as a broker-dealer for transactions or for other services. Payments of such services may be charged as an expense to the trust and will not reduce the amount of fees payable to Edward Jones Trust Company.
Client Consultation Group (CCG) – Our Client Consultation Group (CCG) is a team of professionals within the home office that specializes in the needs of high-net-worth clients. CCG can serve as a sounding board for your ideas and help build on current strategies already in place; however, the client relationships and assets never leave your branch. CCG can provide guidance and insight from other professionals, such as CPAs and attorneys.
